No more Wallpaper in the half bath! There's nothing like the good old fashioned bonding experience of spending an entire weekend scraping wallpaper off the wall, spackling, sanding, priming and painting... This was our bathroom remodel finished product. Old pics on picasa.

Updating things

Hello friends! It's been awhile :) I just thought I'd share what's been going on at the Tigue residence since August... now that it's early November. Where does the time go? I guess it does the proverbial flying while we're having fun, eh.

ONE YEAR

Can it be!? One year already?!
Last Sunday Joe and I headed up to Chicago for two days and one night in celebration of being married for one year! We did Michigan Ave for the afternoon, went out to a nice dinner, drinks near the top of the Hancock building. Then breakfast in the morning (very good, thanks to Steve and Margaret's suggestion of West Egg) off to Ikea and the new Harry Potter in the Imax. It was a great time to get away just before the craziness of my job hits me again tomorrow :)

This is a link to my picasa page where you'll find the album of original realtor pics of the house and then the album made today.

You'll also find some fun pics of the kitchen wallpaper/paint renovation and moving.

Weddings!

<- at Paul and Alexa's wedding in South Bend

Joe and I have been blessed to attend a couple weddings lately and are really looking forward to Eric's this upcoming Valentine's weekend. It's so amazing to see these couple's making such profound vows to one another and to see the beauty in two people participating in a sacrament. God surely blesses each couple and it will be exciting to see them live out their love throughout their lives. We can't help but hold hands as we hear brides and grooms profess their vows remember when we looked into each other's eyes and said the very same words. I know... sappy, but true.

Yay marriage. (speaking of which, our 6 month anniversary is tomorrow :) I can't believe it's been that long already! Time FLIES when you're having fun I guess! )
