Time flies during summer fun!

hOly mOly what happened to June!?  I'll tell you what happened to it... we enjoyed it!

Little enjoyments left over from Joe's Graduation Open House.  I felt so crafty with ribbon and a glue gun... go me!  Nice to have living decorations :)

GRADUATION DAY!!!

I'm ridiculously proud of my husband for getting his Masters in Engineering.  I had a front row seat to all the hard work and long hours that it took.  I know that I couldn't have done it... I didn't understand a quarter of the words that were coming from his computer when he would watch lectures!  I'm also happy that this phase is finished and J can relax a little more and we will get to do more family things and see more family :)

Summer is off to a great start, I definitely have an active toddler on my hands.  I'm glad that he sleeps well so it balances things out :)

There's quite a bit of posting I need to do to update on May but I don't have time today so I'll leave you with this for now with a promise of a more comprehensive and quick updates next week.

The kids menu items came with a scoop of ice cream and although B had signed all done to everything I offered, he instantly picked up the spoon as the waiter put it in front of him and went to town on the ice cream. I think we enjoyed watching it as much as he enjoyed eating it. :)

Warmer weather

I've been glad to get outside more and so is Ben.  In trying to give him something to do (as Joe and I ponder the addition of child entertainment items for the backyard... maybe a sandbox soon) I thought about just giving him a bucket of water and some things to pour back and forth.  He didn't mind getting wet which means we'll have a much more fun summer this year than last :)

School Days... so close!

In an attempt to show my support for Joe in his grad school studies I thought I would create a chain countdown and get Ben to help.  This picture is it at the beginning about a month ago, now it's not long enough to to across the window, YAAAAAYYYY!  

I'm so ridiculously proud of my hubs for his amazing hard work the last several years.  How he has been able to stay dedicated and self-disiplined in his studies I can only marvel.

Thank you God for this wonderful man!

Haircut

The top hasn't grown for awhile, I'm still waiting.

What made him sit still like that?  TV of course, I think it was Baby Signing time.  This was about his 4th hair cut, but the first one that wasn't from me, but from Grammy, so what did I do...  Take pictures.
